Back to shore training

To prepare for the intense efforts of the competition, the 8 cyclists on the Challengers team undergo drastic training at sea, but also on land on Cycles Lejeune bikes, entirely customized with components adapted to their morphologies, but also to their sporting choices.


- Fundamental endurance sessions of 3 to 4 hours with a focus on regularity, where cyclists will be able to rack up the mileage to develop their aerobic capacities.


- High-intensity sessions where cyclists play with the terrain of the Barcelona region, with the aim of linking periods of increasing intensity on climbs and recovery periods on descents.


- Team sessions where athletes take turns accelerating for 10, 20, 30 seconds or a few minutes.


With a rich history in their respective fields, the Rebirth group and Orient Express Racing Team share a common passion for ultra-performance and excellence, and wish to promote soft and sustainable mobility during the America's Cup.
